Self-loading transporter PORTO V15 aggregates collection, loading and transportation of giant bales in one machine. Harvesting of stalk crops by pressing them into bales has many advantages. However, the effectiveness of this method is conditioned by the operator’s capability to handle bales, especially collection and removal from fields. Comparing machine performance output, operational cost and investment as well as demands on the operator, Self-loading transporter offers the most effective solution for collection, loading and transportation of pressed straw, hay or forage.

- The collection and loading are carried out with a fork which goes under the bale and it is loaded into the trailer with single operation. The standard fork is designed for bales with heights of 1200 – 1400 mm and it is universal for any bale diameter.
- Handling platform is equipped with hydraulic drive ram which moves bales towards the end of the trailer
- Unloading of the trailer is done by pushing bales out of the transporting platform hydraulically.
- All operation functions are controlled from the tractor cabin via an electro-hydraulic system.

The Rokycany-based producer of agricultural machinery for soil, meadow and pasture processing, SMS CZ, is expanding its area of activity and entering into cooperation with a business partner in Portugal, where they will be used in a new segment of agriculture, which is the cultivation of nuts and dry fruits. SMS CZ machines were also presented to the Portuguese audience at the Agroglobal exhibition in Santarém.

From 13 September to 14 September, the agricultural exhibition Den Zemědělce will take place at the airfield near the village of Kámen u Pelhřimova. At the traditional event, SMS CZ will present a total of seven machines, with the premiere of the new generation of the FINISHER combined cultivator. Also on display will be the new TALON GREEN, subsoiler for meadows and pastures introduced a few days ago in České Budějovice.
