Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer SMS Agro is bringing a true innovation to this year's prestigious Libramont exhibition in Belgium. The company will celebrate the world premiere of its brand-new mounted disc cultivator ONTARIO 500 H, specially developed to meet the specific needs of farmers in the Benelux region.
The exhibition takes place from July 25 to 28, 2025, and visitors to the SMS CZ stand (position 24.04) can look forward to an extensive display of machinery – a total of six machines will be showcased, covering both soil cultivation and grassland management.
In addition to the highlight – the five-metre-wide hydraulically folding mounted disc cultivator ONTARIO 500 H – visitors will also see the ARRAS 470 H, a mounted, hydraulically folding tine cultivator ideal for seedbed preparation; and the TALON GREEN, a deep cultivator with a 3-metre working width and working depth up to 35 cm, well suited for grassland maintenance and renewal. From the soil cultivation line-up, SMS CZ will present the SEVERIT 500, a five-metre compactor capable of performing up to seven operations in a single pass, and the TALON CLASSIC 300/6, a deep subsoiler with a 3-metre working width and working depth of up to 45 cm. Rounding out the selection is the SMART 300, a universal pneumatic seeder (working width 3 m), designed for both grassland establishment and maintenance as well as field crop seeding.
“The Libramont exhibition represents an important milestone for our brand. It is here that we will publicly unveil the new generation of mounted disc cultivators ONTARIO H for the very first time — a product developed in direct response to the needs and feedback of farmers from the Benelux region. We believe visitors will appreciate not only the technical sophistication of this new model, but of all our machines,” said Petr Jirsa, Managing Director of SMS CZ.
You can find more information about the new model and all showcased machines at stand 24.04 during the exhibition.
