The mounted versions of the short disc cultivator feature two rows of discs with a diameter of 510/560 mm, mounted on maintenance-free bearings on tines made of high-strength steel, protected against overload by rubber shock absorbers. The working depth of the machine is up to 12 cm, making it particularly suitable for the first shallow cultivation, seedbed preparation, or the maintenance of permanent grassland.
Thanks to the use of high-strength materials, the machine is also designed for low-powered tractors. The lower weight of the machine in its standard design can be compensated with additional ballast of up to 330 kg, ensuring better penetration into the soil even under dry conditions. The mounted version of the Ontario disc cultivator is available in working widths from 2 to 4 m in a rigid single-section design (above 3 m without road homologation) and further in working widths of 4 to 5 m in a three-section hydraulically folding design.
Machine Advantages:
Applications:
Incorporation of large amounts of organic matter Stubble cultivation of clover fields and renovation of perm. grassland
