Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer SMS CZ, with its SMS Agro brand, will take part in the National Ploughing Championships in Ireland for the first time this year. The company will bring four machines to one of the country’s most important agricultural events, covering soil cultivation and land care – from tine harrows and Cambridge rollers to machinery designed for grassland maintenance.
SMS Agro’s debut at the National Ploughing Championships will give Irish farmers an opportunity to see machinery from Czech agricultural equipment manufacturer SMS CZ up close. The display will feature the LANIO tine harrow, TITAN SIMPLE Cambridge rollers, including the front-mounted TERAN F model, and the TALON GREEN subsoiler.
The hydraulically folding LANIO 600 tine harrow, with a working width of 6 metres, is designed for both arable land and grassland maintenance. Alongside it will be this year’s SMS Agro innovation, the hydraulically operated TITAN SIMPLE 630 Cambridge rollers, with a working width of 6.3 metres. They also feature TitanLock, a special system developed by SMS CZ to secure the roller rings on the shaft and help extend their service life. Also on display will be the TERAN 300 F, a three-metre Cambridge roller designed for the front three-point linkage, allowing rolling to be combined with another field operation. Irish farmers may also be interested in the three-metre TALON GREEN 300/4 subsoiler designed for grassland maintenance. Its four tines aerate the soil to a depth of up to 35 centimetres without mixing or turning it over.
Visitors to the National Ploughing Championships will find SMS Agro at Stand 277, Row 14, Block 4, where they can take a closer look at all four machines on display and discover more of the Czech manufacturer’s product range. The SMS Agro portfolio extends from grassland maintenance machinery and soil cultivation equipment to seed drills.
SMS Agro invites Irish farmers and agricultural professionals to visit its debut exhibition at the National Ploughing Championships.
