Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer SMS CZ will bring eight SMS Agro machines to AgroTechniek Holland in Biddinghuizen. Visitors will see a cross-section of machinery for a wide range of field operations – from seeding and soil preparation to deep soil cultivation and grassland care.
At stand 5.20, SMS Agro will primarily showcase machinery for soil cultivation. The display will include the ONTARIO 450 H mounted disc harrow, with a working width of 4.3 metres and 32 discs, as well as the hydraulically folding ARIEL 460 H tine cultivator, equipped with seven tines and designed for tractors from 175 hp.
Machinery for deep soil cultivation will also have a strong presence. The TALON KOMBI 300/6 and TALON CLASSIC 300/6 both feature six tines and can work down to a depth of 45 centimetres, while the hydraulically folding TALON CLASSIC 400 offers a four-metre working width and eight tines. Together, the three machines demonstrate the different configurations SMS Agro offers for deep soil loosening and cultivation.
The display, however, will go beyond soil cultivation. Seeding technology will be represented by the three-metre SMART 300 seed drill, equipped with 24 seeding units at a row spacing of 125 mm. For grassland care, SMS Agro will exhibit the TERAN 300 N Cambridge roller and the three-metre TALON GREEN 300/4 grassland subsoiler, whose four tines aerate the soil down to a depth of 35 centimetres.
“The Netherlands is one of the European markets where there are high expectations for both machine performance and the efficiency of individual field operations. That is why this year we have decided to demonstrate the breadth of our product range rather than focus on just one category of machinery. The Benelux is also an important region for our further export growth, and AgroTechniek Holland is one of the opportunities to further strengthen the position of the SMS Agro brand here,” says Petr Jirsa, Managing Director and Sales Director of SMS CZ.
Visitors to AgroTechniek Holland will find SMS Agro at stand 5.20, where they can take a closer look at all eight machines on display and discover more of the Czech manufacturer’s product range. The SMS Agro portfolio covers machinery for soil cultivation and preparation, seeding and grassland care.
