Seeding machine SMART

The SMART pneumatic seeder is primarily designed for establishing and overseeding grasslands. However, its wide range of equipment also allows it to perform field operations and sow most common crops. Thanks to this versatility, it is a highly universal machine, suitable for both small and medium-sized farms. The machine’s simple and robust construction enables reliable work even in challenging conditions on heavy and stony soils.

By overseeding into narrow slots, the turf is not damaged. At the same time, stones are not pulled to the surface, and this seeding technology also offers advantages in terms of soil erosion prevention.

Slot seeding for improved germination

• Slot seeding increases germination rates by ensuring safe placement of the seed into the slots. The spacing of the seeding slots is 12.5 cm.
• Two rows of discs with a diameter of 410 mm and a thickness of 5 mm cut the topsoil and create slots for secure seed placement.
• The discs are mounted to the wing frame with rubber shock absorbers, which enhance rigidity and durability.
• The coulters perform the primary function of depositing seed into the slot while, thanks to their carbide tip, also cleaning the discs from residues.

• Hydraulically folding semi-mounted machine with a 4 m working width and high working capacity
• Suitable for medium-sized farms
• The seeding system is located at the front of the frame, while the rear part consists of two freely suspended wings for excellent ground contour following
• The frames are equipped with two rows of cutting discs with coulters (32 working units in total) and a support roller
• In transport position, the wings fold hydraulically perpendicular to the machine frame
• Equipped with a chassis that, in working position, is lifted and effectively loads the rear part of the machine
• Fully hydraulic operation, including working depth adjustment (1–10 cm) and harrow height control
